I had a very positive experience with Dentavac and Dr. Baez’s team. Dr. Baez is patient, professional and truly great at what he does. He has many years pf experience in implants and what you may need when it comes to your dental needs. I was very nervous at first but after speaking to him, I felt great about the decision I made and wish I came to him sooner. He did a great job putting us at ease for my mom’s full mouth implants 5 on 5. The day of surgery with extractions for her full mouth was a tough day for us but Dr. Baez’s team did a fantastic job, along with the surgeon Dr. Cotto, anesthesiologist, Isabella, Rosie, lady dentist, another gentleman dentist and Hazel. I coordinated with Hazel on my arrival to CR from US and she made everything seamless. I had so many questions and the team answered them in a professional and courteous manner. We are excited to return for our permanent set in fall/winter 2026. We know we are in great hands and it was a great experience! There are lots of options for dental work in CR but Dr. Baez’s practice at Dentavac is the best option out there! His team put my mother at ease, especially this being our first time in CR and not knowing the language or culture. However, the team helped us with so much even outside of dental care that I truly left so happy! My mom’s smile looks great (MA). Hazel is the start of it ALL.. and she is so patient and kind and efficient  Then the office staff Roci.. and all the ladies that work there are just so kind, patient and considerate.
Dr Beaz is THE MAN he is an artist,
He makes you so comfortable.
He listens and does exactly what you need him to do.
The whole experience has been A TEN FOR ME..

Have had nothing but problems after having all of my teeth crowned.  They told me I wouldn't have any problems but that has not been the case. I seem to be needing a root canal and new crown on average once a year. Unfortunately this has become a nightmare and I wish I would have never let them crown all my healthy teeth. Nice people but this has become a nightmare. No guarantee like they say. I am sitting here in pain needing another root canal as we speak and I just can't fly back every year to fix the bad work that was done. They did some absolute horrible work on me and absolutely overcharged me for the shoddy job they had done on me. I absolutely feel taking advantage of and I would not trust these people at all. My experience at Dentavac dental clinic is something I will remember for the rest of my life—not just because of the dental work, but because of the incredible people who walked beside me through every step of this journey.

I knew I had major work ahead of me, and I was honestly terrified. A close friend of mine had his All-on-4 done here, and seeing how beautiful his results were gave me hope. He connected me with Hazel, and that one phone call changed everything.

From the first moment Hazel spoke to me, she made me feel safe. She was warm, patient, understanding, and treated me as if she had known me for years. She asked for pictures, reviewed everything quickly, explained the process, and helped me understand that I needed All-on-6 upper and lower. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, her kindness gave me the courage to move forward. She truly cared about me—not just as a patient, but as a human being.

Hazel coordinated every detail. When I arrived in Costa Rica, Juan was waiting for me at the airport, smiling, kind, and ready to help. Hazel even came to meet me personally on my first day to make sure I didn’t feel alone. That meant so much to me.

The moment I walked into Dentavac , I felt surrounded by love, warmth, and professionalism. Maria, Rocío, and Isabel greeted me with genuine kindness. These women are extraordinary—gentle, compassionate, and completely devoted to making sure I felt comfortable and supported. Their hearts are truly in their work, and you can feel that in every interaction.

My surgeons, Dr. Acosta and Dr. Báez, were absolutely incredible. They explained every step to me with patience, clarity, and confidence. They worked with such precision and teamwork that I instantly trusted them. Their calmness made me calm. Their confidence made me brave.

And the techs… their excitement for me was real. They celebrated my new smile with me as if they were celebrating a family member’s milestone. They even surprised me on my birthday with cake and singing. I will never forget standing there, emotional, surrounded by people who truly cared about me. It wasn’t just kindness—it was heart.

I walked into this experience scared. But because of Hazel, Juan, Maria, Rocío, Isabel, Dr. Acosta, Dr. Báez, and the entire team, I felt held, supported, and lifted every step of the way. They turned something that could have been frightening into something beautiful.

I never once felt alone. I never once felt unsure. Every single person there made me feel seen, cared for, and safe.

Dentavac didn’t just give me a new smile—they gave me confidence, comfort, and a sense of family during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. These people truly have their hearts in their work, and their compassion is something I will carry with me forever.

I had all teeth extracted and implants placed in October 2025 and I am completely satisfied with the experience. I was anticipating the eventual necessity of the procedure for a long time of course, and I was expecting it to be very arduous and painful in addition to being very expensive. But at Dentavac it was not... everything went much more easily than I could have hoped. All of the many people here who participated in my care were superb.

For anyone here researching in advance of having similar work done and may be anxious about it, I will describe how it went for me. I was examined and x-rayed on the afternoon of the day I arrived. The following afternoon was the surgery. I was put under IV sedation that was described as "conscious sedation" but I remember nothing after the anesthesiologist inserting the needle until all the work was done. From the next day on I had minimal pain and little swelling, I think a testament to the skill of the surgeon Dr. Calvo. For the rest of my time in San Jose, there were short daily appointments at the clinic where they worked on the temporary denture. The poking and prodding at my gums was a little uncomfortable, but really almost nothing during the entire process rose to the level of "pain".

Besides being far more expensive, I also don't believe I could have gotten better care anywhere in the USA. I'm very glad I decided to go to Dentavac clinic.

I was researching dental services in San Jose and found Dentavac. I called and Hazel was so efficient on providing information. I needed a root canal and she answered all my questions. The best part was that I kept texting and calling and Hazel was answering all my questions making me feel comfortable. Fantastic experience. They picked me up from the airport, picked me up for my appointments, and did a great job on my cavities. Very kind and helpful staff too! They are like a family - very comfortable all around. Thank you all ☀️
